Between 2005 and 2014, I wrote dozens of letters of reference and recommendation for more than 100 students. In part, my recommendations resulted in many successful applications for scholarships and employment. One example is Samantha Tupy, a member of my undergraduate research team. I wrote a recommendation letter for Sam, and she received a Women in Psychology Scholarship in 2011 – 2012 for her graduate studies in psychology.
