Associate Professor

My research interests are in design and analysis of manufacturing processes for enhanced product performance. I study the process – structure – property relationships in various metal manufacturing processes. In the past, I have researched on forging, rolling and casting processes.

Presently I am working in additive manufacturing. The focus of the research is to understand how the process parameters affect the properties of parts made by such processes.
